POSTPONED — FLY FISHING OUTING TO SILVER CREEK

This outing to Silver Creek is postponed until further notice.
REASON per AZGFD: “The Arizona Game and Fish Department (AZGFD) is postponing trout stocking for the start of the six-month catch-and-release season at Silver Creek due to local flooding on the AZGFD hatchery property.
Inundated soil currently prevents department stocking vehicles from safely accessing the stream. Additionally, elevated water levels and high flow conditions may reduce stocked trout survival and impact angler success.
Stocking operations will resume as soon as stream conditions improve and vehicle access is restored. AZGFD will announce the updated stocking schedule to the public prior to commencement.”

Great opportunity to catch large trout on the fly!
